Question 1

What does the B2AAA fault code mean on my car?

Accepted Answer

B2AAA is a manufacturer-specific code indicating a fault within the Body Control Module (BCM) — the electronic unit that manages wipers, lights, central locking, windows and other body functions. It means the BCM has detected an internal error or has lost communication with another module on the vehicle network.

Question 2

Can I drive with a B2AAA body control module fault?

Accepted Answer

Short distances may be possible, but BCM faults can cause unpredictable failures — lights cutting out, doors failing to lock, or wipers stopping in rain. We recommend booking a diagnostic promptly rather than risking safety.

Question 3

How much does a BCM diagnosis and repair cost in Bush Hill Park?

Accepted Answer

Diagnostic starts from £65. If a repair, software update or BCM clone resolves the fault, that cost is confirmed and agreed with you before any work begins. We never charge for parts you don't need.

Question 4

Can MnF Motors clone or reprogram my BCM instead of buying a new one?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In many cases we can clone your existing BCM data onto a replacement unit, or reprogram the module, avoiding the cost of a brand-new dealer part. We confirm the best route after diagnosis.

Question 5

How far does MnF Motors travel for BCM fault repairs?

Accepted Answer

Diagnostics, repairs and calibration are carried out within a 20-mile radius of our Edmonton N18 garage, covering Bush Hill Park and surrounding North London areas. Warranty claim inspections are handled up to 100 miles away.
