Question 1

Is it safe to drive with a P0300 code showing in Bounds Green?

Accepted Answer

A flashing EML means the misfire is severe enough to damage your catalytic converter — pull over safely and call us. A steady EML is less urgent but the car still needs diagnosis promptly. Do not ignore it hoping it clears.

Question 2

Why did P0300 appear right after my service?

Accepted Answer

A misfire code appearing after a service usually points to a disturbed component — a coil not fully seated, a plug left slightly loose, a vacuum hose not reconnected, or a wiring connector knocked off. MnF traces exactly what changed during the service rather than guessing.

Question 3

How much does P0300 diagnosis cost at MnF Motors?

Accepted Answer

Diagnosis starts from £60. That fee covers a full live-data scan, cylinder contribution tests and a wiring/vacuum check. If you go ahead with repair, the diagnostic cost is explained upfront and kept fair.

Question 4

Will MnF replace all coils and plugs to fix a P0300?

Accepted Answer

No. Blanket parts replacement is expensive and often misses the real fault. We identify the actual failing component first — whether that is one coil, an injector, a vacuum leak, or a wiring issue — then repair only what is causing the misfire.

Question 5

Does MnF Motors serve Bounds Green and surrounding areas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MnF Motors is based in Edmonton N18 and provides diagnostics, repairs and servicing to customers within a 20-mile radius, which comfortably covers Bounds Green, Enfield, Finchley, Islington and the wider North London area.
