Question 1

What does fault code C0035 mean?

Accepted Answer

C0035 means the ABS control module has detected a fault in the left front wheel speed sensor circuit. This could be a failed sensor, damaged wiring, a corroded connector, or a broken reluctor ring — not automatically the sensor itself.

Question 2

Is it safe to drive with a C0035 fault code?

Accepted Answer

Your ABS and potentially your traction control will be disabled while this fault is active. Normal braking still works, but emergency stopping distances increase significantly. We recommend booking a diagnosis promptly rather than driving indefinitely with this fault.

Question 3

How much does C0035 diagnosis and repair cost in Islington?

Accepted Answer

Diagnosis starts from £55. A straightforward wheel speed sensor replacement typically falls in the £90–£180 range depending on your vehicle. Wiring repairs or reluctor ring work will vary. MnF Motors provides a fixed written quote before any work begins.

Question 4

How long does C0035 repair take?

Accepted Answer

Most C0035 repairs are completed within 1–3 hours. If the fault is wiring or connector related, it may take slightly longer. We will give you a realistic time estimate once we have diagnosed the root cause.
